Plastic-tool made from Toolox 44
Conny Lindqvist is a
toolmaker at Schneider Electric in Nyköping, Sweden.
“Our tools produce plastic details for electrical installations, for
example. We tested
Toolox 44 when one of our customers
urgently needed a tool for injection-moulding
a junction box. Toolox 44 is
excellent for machining by conventional methods, and can be
used immediately without
time-consuming hardening and finishing. The steel’s high heat
conductivity enables a faster process
when injection-moulding plastic details.
Unsurprisingly, our customer was
completely satisfied.”
